Beeswax — Created by the Bees

Beeswax is an amazing natural material produced by worker honey bees. They use tiny wax scales from their bodies to build the honeycomb where the colony stores honey and raises young bees.

The beautiful color and natural aroma of beeswax can vary depending on its age and what is happening inside the hive. After harvesting, I carefully clean and prepare the wax from my hives so it can be given a new life instead of being wasted.

I use this beeswax to create simple, useful products such as natural beeswax candles and reusable food wraps.
