About Monika

I’m a local beekeeper in Franklin Park, Illinois, and the heart behind Organic Golden Honey.

My connection with nature began when I was a little girl. I was already collecting herbs, observing plants, insects, butterflies, and lightning bugs, and discovering the amazing world around me. I was fascinated by how much nature provides and by the traditional ways plants and herbs have been used for generations.

That curiosity stayed with me throughout my life. Over time, it grew into a passion for natural living, gardening, pollinators, and eventually beekeeping. When bees became part of my life, everything seemed to come together—the plants, herbs, flowers, pollinators, and the incredible balance that connects them all.

More Than Honey

For me, beekeeping has never been only about honey. Bees are part of a much bigger balance in nature. They connect our flowers, gardens, food, wildlife, and communities.

I’m proud to be involved with Bee City USA in Franklin Park and to share my knowledge and experience with my community. I enjoy helping children and adults discover the importance of bees and other pollinators through educational programs, local events, and hands-on experiences.

Whether I’m caring for my hives, helping with a bee rescue, planting for pollinators, or simply answering someone’s questions about bees, I hope to help people see these small creatures with greater understanding and appreciation.

Connected to Nature

My connection with nature goes far beyond beekeeping. I love growing plants and herbs, watching the sunrise, walking barefoot on the earth, and simply taking time to observe the changing seasons.

These simple moments remind me to slow down and appreciate how many gifts surround us every day.

I believe a healthy lifestyle is not only about what we eat or the products we use. It is also about spending time outdoors, staying connected to the earth, caring for the environment around us, and understanding that we are part of nature—not separate from it.

Made Personally by Me

Organic Golden Honey grew naturally from this way of life. My honey and natural products are prepared in small batches with care, using ingredients from the hive, herbs, plants, and other simple ingredients inspired by nature.

I continue to learn every day, and I love sharing what I discover with others.

For me, Organic Golden Honey is not simply about making products. It is about respecting the bees, appreciating nature, supporting pollinators, and sharing something meaningful with my community.

Bees didn’t begin my love of nature—they became another beautiful part of a connection that has been with me since childhood.

This version feels much more like your personal story, and I think it's stronger than the earlier one. The sunrise and grounding belong under Connected to Nature, while Bee City USA belongs under More Than Honey.
