Traditional herbal support for relaxation, stress, restful sleep & digestive comfort.
Traditional herbal support for relaxation, stress, restful sleep & digestive comfort.
Melissa, also known as lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), is a gentle aromatic herb from the mint family. The tincture is a concentrated herbal extract traditionally used for calming the nervous system and supporting relaxation and digestion.
Why People Use Melissa Tincture
Melissa is especially valued as a calming herb for the nervous system. People traditionally use it when the mind feels busy, the body feels tense, or stress makes it difficult to relax.
Melissa is traditionally used to support:
Calm mind and emotional balance
Everyday stress and nervous tension
Relaxation during anxious or restless feelings
Restful sleep and easier unwinding at night
Digestive comfort, especially a nervous or unsettled stomach
Healthy nervous-system function
Overall relaxation and everyday well-being
Melissa also contains naturally occurring plant compounds with antioxidant and antimicrobial activity, which continue to be studied.
Because the mind, nervous system, sleep and digestion can all be affected by stress, Melissa is a wonderful traditional herb for times when the body simply needs help slowing down and relaxing.
